Hello everyone!!

I guess I'll start with the basics:

Those are some pretty basic facts about me. I was in a toxic relationship and didn't realise it until he fucked up for the third time, I did everything he wanted even if I didn't want to, and literally was devoted to him. He was my life, and I was miserable, but I thought he made me happy. Well I now know the truth, and I've finally become...relaxed. Like there's a feeling of "ahhh". But anyway, that's what I mean by finally alive.

I've been severely depressed and I have struggled with an eating disorder for a little over 6 years now - and I'm finally starting to work hard on recovery. I'm finally trying to get healthy, and I'm not angry about it anymore, I feel done with my disorder, and I'm finally getting better. I've also been a cutter for about a year, and I'm now stopping. I haven't done it in over a week and don't plan to. 2010 is my new beginning, and the year I am happy, and start living. So trust me you guys, you won't be disappointed in what you read. My life is super exciting. Well...it's on it's way there. Haha. My life has already become exciting though. But it will just get better.

So add me if you want, don't add me if you don't want to. If you don't mind I'd love comments if you're going to add me, but if you don't comment? I don't care! Because I'm happy now.

Hey, so.
I'm Gabe, I'm 18.
This isn't my first LJ account, I've been around for 6 years or so in one form or another.
Right now I'm in my first year of university, located in Kitchener-Waterloo.
I'm a sociology major and loving it.

I want to be either an author or a dinosaur when I grow up.
My entries are mostly really long rants because I have way too much free time to think about shit.
I'm looking for people that actually update their journals fairly regularly that I can comment on and that will comment on my entries. I tend to write a lot very often.

Stuff that I write about will probably have something to do with gender, 'cause I'm transgendered and damn proud, or... just random relationship stuff and my adventures. I love talking to people about my experiences and sharing ideas and stuff, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hey! I'm Kitten. I live in Ontario with my boyfriend jokerknight and 5 other guy roommates! Cleaning is a pain, but due to my heavy maternal instincts I love it. :) They're almost all my good friends!

I'm going back to finish highschool soon, unless a job opportunity pops up.

I love horror-anything! I'm a huge horror geek you could say.

I have an albino rat named Candy. She's just a baby, but I love her so! I also have a calico kitty named Frankenstein, but I'm not allowed kitties where I live so she currently resides with my father. They've bonded so that I could never take her away.. But that's just fine with me. :)

I'm going to the gym 4 times a week, trying to get into shape and live a healthier life. I just started in december but I love it already! It's a tough road but I'm sure it will be beneficial in the long run.

I love to read and write. I have too many books to keep in my room, and piles of pen&paper journals and stories. I enjoy being creative, painting and pretending to know how to draw! A few of my roommates LARP and I'm apparently going to be their new costumer/artist/whatever. Haha.

I would love some new friends, with any kind of interests. I love reading about other peoples random daily activity, musings and I love looking at pictures. So, check out my user profile and add me if you'd like!

So I'm currently doing my best to pretend like I don't see that the guy from a semi-dating site/semi-friend site that I've never spoken to before has just IM'd me, by finding new things to do,lol. (Gawd I am such a pre-teen when it comes to men. DX lmao)

Hi. Name's Deryck. 23, recent college grad, and looking for work.

Guyanese-born, but I rarely talk about my culture or country unless food's involved. Nothing beats Caribbean food. :p Nationality doesn't define me; I define me.

Saying "I like music" is an understatement. However, music is a topic I talk about least with friends. If someone shows an interest in or gives me an impression they want to learn about what I like, sure I'll strike up a music conversation though.

But yes, I'm not as single-minded as I might appear haha.

My LJ initially involved me archiving my music collection. Even though I still do that, I began writing in it more after I graduated college. Thoughts and interests are a few things you'll find. Ideally, I expect to read the same from whoever adds me. LJ is a good learning opportunity; I've learned a lot from the friends I've made here. And I'm not talking boring political debates or anything else controversial (i rarely talk about those serious "world" subjects). I'm talking everyday life stuff: what it's like to live in fucked-up or dull surroundings, the effect x person has on y, etc.

I try to be online often, which means no monthly or weekly posts HINTHINT. I understand when "shit happens" or people are away on vacation, though.

HELLO. Eww I'm 22, but I look like I'm 17 and people constantly tell me this. I'm a senior in college (Anthropology major, Film minor). I've always had more guy friends than girl friends and it's always been better that way.

I love writing, photography, and movies. That's probably going to be the majority of my posts. I like anything that deals with my creative side. I also really love the Boston Red Sox. I live in New Jersey and I love the beach, but I'd like to beat up everyone on the Jersey Shore show.

Hey... I'm LeAnn. I will be 22 years old tomorrow.  This isn't my first LJ, but I'm starting a new one for the new year. I live in Missouri - originally from Pennsylvania. I have a fiance and three (future) step-children. They are the lights of my life.  I work at Burger King as an Assistant Manager. That takes up the majority of my time. I love the Beatles and pretty much all kinds of music. I have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Most days I'm okay, but every now and then I will go off the deep end.

In my journal I will post a lot about work, my family and random things. I post pictures occasionally. I guess you'll have to friend me and read my journal if you want to know more!

Every time I do this I find great new friends so I thought I would do it again in hopes of finding some cool new friends :)

I'm a single stay at home mom. I went through a very messy divorce this past June. My ex is a dramatic movie in the works, if you add me you can learn more. I have three children: a 10-year-old daughter, a 9-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. I love my kids but I'm not afraid to admit that most of the time they drive me crazy. Anyone who says differently would be lying. Yes I love my kids but there is more to be than being a mother.

I am bluntly honest. I have no inner monologue. Sometimes this gets me into trouble. My livejournal friends have told me they love this about me, but some people can't handle it because you know, obviously they must be close minded and afraid of the truth....and as for those people, I don't care.. There's no sugar coating anything in my journal. I tell it like it is, like it or not. You'll find that I am an open book, there's no question I won't answer and nothing that freaks me out or scares me away.

My journal is random.... You never know what you're going to get. I discuss a wide variety of things from my family, life, drugs, self injury, depression, total bullshit, project 365, I post things from whats going on with my kids, to whats going on with me, or how I want to twist my ex into a pretzel and more. I refuse to censor myself on the one thing I have where I can be myself. I won't change for anyone. I did that for too many years and I refuse to be a doormat anymore.

I suffer from depression, anxiety, agoraphobia and countless other things. I try to be positive but some days its hard. Most of my 'good' friends are online because people tend to be extremely stuck up where I live so I avoid them. Most of my IRL friends are friends I have had my entire life or more than half of it.

Hobbies? What are those? Seriously though I don't do much besides things online- livejournal, twitter, youtube. I love to read but have to be in the mood and then I'll read like 5 books in a week. I like to shop when the stores are empty so I don't have to deal with crowds. I love makeup so most of my play money goes there.

More or less I'm a regular person who has lived through a unique situation and everyone tells me I should write my life story because I have a best seller. Someday I may do that. Probably not though because I can never sit still for long...lol

I post very frequently, and often long entries. I have a lot to say. You can check my user information for all my 'interests'. They are mostly listed there. I get along with everyone, its just a matter of people getting along with me ;) I do prefer people over 18 since my journal contains adult concepts. I don't friend cut people unless they cut me first because after all, I'm not keeping you if you aren't keeping me, lol. Or if I add you and you don't add me back within 24 hours. Yep, I'm that much of a bitch...suck it up. But otherwise I don't believe in friend cuts, I accept ALL people and enjoy learning and listening to others because EVERYONE is unique. I'm not the BEST person at commenting so if you like people who comment to every post you make, don't add me. Also I don't expect people to comment to everything I post because I'm not doing livejournal to be an attention whore. I comment when I have something to say, but I read every entry people post.

Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm not new to LJ, but this is a new journal to start the new year with and all that. I'm nineteen years old and a college sophomore majoring in English, specifically literature. I love to read and write and dance and watch TV. I don't update my journal too much, partly because my life isn't terribly exciting at the moment and mostly because I'm lazy. I try to comment a lot to make up for it.

My interests include music, books, procrastinating, comedians, Misha Collins and pizza, not necessarily in that order. I'd prefer if we had some things in common, but it's not necessary. I think that's pretty much it; everything else is in my userinfo. :]
